This painiting is part of a small series of winterlandscapes. It represents an oriental looking wintry landscape. Although it is uncertain where you're heading, your eyes still can wander through the painting and your imagination can start interpreting the scenery, I painted, glued and drew in it, scratched, removed and rebuilt. Underneath this painting are a lot of layers, which shine through the whites and colors, and give it a beautiful depth. The combination of painting and drawing expresses my style the most. The materials are playfully but harmoniously combined and elaborated into this semi-abstract landscape. The painting is protected by a top layer of varnish.
